Oh my goodness, I’ve done it. I’m so excited to have successfully completed the 10,000 steps challenge. There have been times when I’ve thought I wouldn’t achieve my 10,000 daily steps. I’ve done it though and I’m so pleased I pushed myself to keep going when I really didn’t want to.
Today’s daily steps update
For the best part of the day today I was housebound waiting for a telephone call. I got a quick walk in with Indie this morning then tried to get steps in every hour around the house, but by 4pm I was still under 5000 steps but I was finally able to get out of the house.
I walked up to the butchers and my son came with me for a longer walk and I was up to 8500. By the time I’d sorted out the evening meal and then tidied up, put the bins out, I was over 9200.
I popped the music on and finished off with some dancing to get me over the 10,000 steps today and I’ve done it.
5 days and well over 50,000 steps
I call that a success. Well, it certainly is for me anyway. Here’s what I’ve done
Here’s what I’ve done each day.
Day 1 – 12,299 steps
Day 2 – 10,768 steps
Day 3 – 11,302 steps
Day 4 – 11,030 steps
Day 5 – 10,143 steps and still counting.
That’s a grand total of 55,542
