Midday steps update
It’s 12.25pm and things are going very well so far. Indie and I have had two 10-15 minutes walks so far today and he’s loving it. It’s a beautiful sunny day so it does make it easy to get out for walks.
I’ve done 3 lots of washing so far and pegged them out on the line, got another load in the washer. Hey what can I say, it’s Monday wash day. Every day seems to be a wash day in my house but Monday I get loads done if it’s a nice day. Those trips backwards and forward to the wash line really add up.
I had a medium glass of water with lemon first thing this morning and I’m now on my 3rd big glass of water, so lots of toilet breaks too.
Okay, lunch time for me. I’m having a nice tuna salad. Let me know in the comments what you’re having for lunch today. This is what I call fast food.
Afternoon steps update
I’ve just got back from my afternoon walk with Indie and I’m already over 85000 steps and I still need to walk up to the butchers to get something for our evening meal.
Really pleased as Monday’s can be a low step day with working at the computer all day.
I’m on my 4th big glass of water for the day, so I’m going to make this one last. I tend to try not to drink as much late afternoon and in the evening otherwise I’m up half the night backwards and forwards to the toilet. I’m treating myself to a nice cup of tea as well.
Indie’s well and truly worn out after his afternoon walk. He’s only got little legs bless him.
I’ve just walked to the butchers and back and it’s around 800 steps. That’s a nice boost every day, so instead of buying what I want for the week, I’ve just bought what I want for this evening.
Mid-afternoon snack. It’s almost 4pm and I’m feeling a bit peckish, so I’m having toasted pitta bread with a little olive oil spread inside it. It’s my new favourite treat.
Evening Steps Update
It’s 9pm and my steps are at 12,114 steps. I’m so happy with this. Although I haven’t done a massive amount of steps this evening, I consciously made myself get up and get moving.
Day 1 successfully completed. I’m going to get my pj’s on now and take my pedometer off for the rest of the evening.
