In today’s post, I’m sharing my 2017 health and weight loss affirmations that I’ve created using my goals for the year. I hope this gives you some ideas to create your own affirmations to support you with your own goals.
Creating your health and weight loss affirmations from your goals
If you’ve already set your goals, I encourage you to have them written down. Look at each goal in turn and create a positive present tense statement to support you in achieving.

A note about using affirmations
I absolutely love affirmations and I’ve used them to support me in achieving the things I want in so many areas of my life over the past few years.
Sometimes people say to me that affirmations don’t work. This is how I see it. Make your affirmations positive but not unbelievable to you.
So if I was to walk around saying to myself “I’m a super skinny, super model.” It wouldn’t fit what I want and my mind would reject this message as a lie.
We want to be going for better feeling statements.
Surely it’s better to feed your mind positive affirmations to support ourselves than to go around thinking, saying negative things to ourselves.
Fill your mind with these positive statements throughout the day and especially if you catch yourself feeling down, hungry when you know you’re really not, negative about your efforts or your body…
You can use my ideas for affirmations or create your own. Give it a go and see what happens.

Best wishes with your health and weight loss goals.
