I know when I say things like this it sounds somewhat simplistic. However, the images we feed our mind are powerful.
There’s a famous quote by Bob Proctor – “If you can see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.”
In other words, when you can see things in your mind, this will become your reality.
When we are overweight, we often have a distorted image of ourselves and we see ourselves being fat or being unhealthy.
This image tends to set in stone the very thing you do not want.
See yourself the way you want to be
See yourself as being slim and healthy in your mind and your mind will support you in achieving this goal.
In my image I am slim, toned and I radiate health. My skin looks healthy, my hair looks healthy, I imagine how I look, the clothes I am wearing and the way I feel.
Every time I spend time doing this, I know the new me more and more – It feels more and more natural to be this healthy and slim person rather than an overweight and unhealthy person.
This helps me every day to stay focused on who I want to be and helps me avoid the things that will block my weight loss success.
Can you see yourself slim and healthy?
When I advise people to see themselves already having the things they want, many people tell me they cannot imagine this in their mind.
What I say to this is that everyone can do this with practice. It’s the same as most things in life. At first it may seem strange or difficult, but if you keep trying, it gets easier and you will become very skilled at seeing yourself they way you wish.
Make it a regular habit, several times aday and really enjoy the experience. If it feels like a pleasure, you naturally attract what you want. If it feels like a chore, you will block what you want.
use the power of the law of attraction to succeed in your weight loss journey. I’m not going to tell you it’s some magic wand kind of power. But the more you follow my tips for using the law of attraction the more you attract what you want and the less you resist/block it.
