I have to say I woke up this morning feeling really positive about my weight loss journey. I jumped on the scales again when I got up and I’m around the 11.10 stone mark. Just shows the difference depending on what time of day we weigh ourselves. That’s 6 pound lighter overnight.
I started the day with a nice big bowl of fruit (mixed melon, chopped banana and raspberries) with greek yoghurt and a drizzle of honey. It looked so colourful in the bowl and felt really nice and refreshing. I also had a big glass of water when I first got up.
We spent most of the day at my mums with my sister’s and my niece. We had burgers and a nice salad for lunch. I know burgers are traditionally not the healthiest food but I buy mine from the butchers and they are such good quality, so I feel like it was a good lunch.
I typically drink coke when I go to mums. I try not to have any at home because I love it so much. I did a have a very small glass but the rest of the time I drank squash. So I’m pleased with that.
For our evening meal, I just had a baked potato, beans and a couple of fish fingers.
Steps wise, I’ll probably finish around 70000 steps today. It’s lower than I would like but it’s 7.30 and I’m not going out walking now.
I definitely want to up my step count next week. I’ve struggled to get up over the 10,000 mark most days, so I’m going to push that up. I don’t tend to wear my pedometer at the weekend, So I’m aiming for at least the other 5 days over 10,000.
So that’s my day. I’m just going to put the shopping order in now, so I’m thinking about making sure we have nice meals for the week and plenty of fresh fruit for snacking and desserts.
Okay, I’ll say bye for today and catch up again tomorrow. I’m going to add an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) script as well tomorrow that I’m going to be using every day and of course you can have a go at too.
