My apologies for missing the past few days. I’ve had computer problems. All sorted now thankfully.
So, I’ve got to tell you about my amazing bargain today. I’d run out of fruit (a good sign right?), so I popped to the local co-op to stock up and I’m standing there queuing up to pay and I noticed some beautiful flowers on the desk. They’d been reduced to 30p – 30p, can you believe it? Well, I scooped up a bunch for me and a bunch for my lovely mum.
I love flowers and they really do make me feel good. If I had the money, I’d always have fresh flowers in every room of the house.
Anyway, let’s move on.
Things have been going quite well. I’ve been so much better and yes, I’m pleased.
I haven’t had my pedometer on the past few days, so not sure about my steps. I think I would have done fairly well. I’ve been trying to just get up from work or whatever I’ve been doing and get active regularly.
I found a fab channel on YouTube – Keri Glassman, Nutritious Life
What I love about Keri is that she’s not one of those people who say “You have to eat that and you can’t eat this.”
I don’t know about you but when someone tells me that I can’t eat something, boy do I really want to eat it.
And I’ve got to tell you this. In one of her videos she suggests chopped apple and cinnamon. She says to chop up the apple, pop it in a bag and sprinkle on the cinnamon, give it a shake and WOW, it’s really scrumptious. Love it.
I sometimes find apples a bit boring, so this is an excellent way to jazz them up for a super yummy treat.
Okay, I’m off to get ready for the week ahead. And make sure my son’s ready too.
Hope you have a fantastic week.
