I’ve been helping people achieve their goals since 2009 and one thing that I tell people over and over again is write your goals down.
So with my own weekly weight loss goals I thought I’d take things a step further and start sharing my weekly goals. I’ll be posting my weekly goals and also doing a review of the week. Now I’m calling them weight loss goals but really they are healthy living, getting active and weight loss goals but I thought that was a bit much to add to the title.
I really hope you’ll also get involved with me and share your own goals for the week in the comments below. For me knowing that others are with me on the journey is so important and it really helps me to stay motivated as I hope sharing what’s going on with you will help you stay motivated.
Oh my goodness me, I just added the dates to the title. By the end of this week, we’ll be in July. I’m going on my hols at the end of the month, so I really want to feel in tip top shape and hopefully have lost a few more pounds too.
I write my goals as affirmations, positive statements to help me send a powerful message to my subconscious mind and out into the Universe.
My goals for the week
~ Every day I drink a glass of water when I get up and then 4 big glasses of water throughout the day.
~ I walk over 10,000 steps each day and 3 days this week I walk over 15,000 steps
~ I fill half of my plate with veggies at meal times and I take my time to eat and enjoy my meals
~I run up and walk down the stairs 10 times without stopping every day at least once a day so that I am ready for those steps on my holidays.
~I do a few rounds of EFT before each meal ~ My body is amazing. It takes what it needs to be slim, strong and healthy and let’s go of the rest. So that the energy in my body supports me.
My body is amazing and I treat it with respect and love
I will review my week next Monday and of course, set my goals for the week again.
I hope you’ll share your goals below.
Please also remember that each of us is where we are on our weight loss and fitness journey. Back in January (2015 -6months ago) my goal was to walk to the end of my drive. You can read more about my story Here I certainly wouldn’t have been setting myself a goal of walking 15,000 steps in a day. I’d have probably managed that in a week.
Small goals that are a small step up for you are much better than big goals that you’re not going to stick with.
Have a wonderful week.
