I hope you’ve all had a great week and have lots of good news to share with me.
As promised here’s my Monday review and new goals for this week.
Last week’s goals review
~ Every day I drink a glass of water when I get up and then 4 big glasses of water throughout the day. Hmm, got a bit side tracked this week and I’ve been drinking cordial more than water. I thnk it was due to the hot weather. I did drink a lot, but not so much water. This will definitely be a priority this week.
~ I walk over 10,000 steps each day and 3 days this week I walk over 15,000 steps
Yes, I had a super successful week
Friday 15,139 (would have been more, but my phone jammed so the tracking stopped)
Sunday 6,681 (I know this wasn’t on the cards but I’m okay with it. I had a lovely day and did still get out for my walk)
82,664 steps in total. Yes, I’m very pleased with that.
As you can see, there were some days where I was only just over my target. I did a bit or wearing the carpet out in my house to take me over my daily target. I think setting a target for yourself is really powerful.
~ I fill half of my plate with veggies at meal times and I take my time to eat and enjoy my meals.
Again I think due to the hot weather, my eating habits went out of the window a little. I did eat lots of salad, but I also feel like I ate a lot of rubbish too. Back on track this week.
~I run up and walk down the stairs 10 times without stopping every day at least once a day so that I am ready for those steps on my holidays.
I didn’t do it every day. I’m finding 10 in one go a bit of a push in the hot weather and knowing I’ve got 10 to do is putting me off, so I’m dropping back down to 5 and going for 1 plus times a day.
I didn’t do it every day and I know this really makes a difference, so I’m making it a priority again this week.
~I do a few rounds of EFT before each meal ~ My body is amazing. It takes what it needs to be slim, strong and healthy and let’s go of the rest. So that the energy in my body supports me.
I have been doing this EFT, but it’s been a bit random which is okay. Any tapping is better than none.
My new weekly weight loss goals
~ Drink 1 glass of water when I get up and the 4 big glasses of water throughout the day and record on my water chart.
At least 1 set of stair run/walks ~ 5 runs up and walks down daily
Arm exercises with Sweat with lauren every work day
3 days doing something on the Wii (Wii fit, play, dance..) for 15 mins plus.
Continue to walk 10,000 steps and aim for 3 days over 15,000 again. You can join me on the steps challenge for more support if daily steps is going to be one of your goals.
5 big salads meals and share on the blog.
Start with a healthy breakfast. This really makes a difference to the rest of my day.
Okay, I think that’s it. I’m going to copy my goals now to my goals sheet so that I keep focused on them all week. I didn’t have them written down last week and that really makes a big difference to me.

Oops just realized I missed off EFT, so I’ve added it in with Hypnosis in pen on my printout.
Tip. Resize the printout if you need to so that all your goals fit on one page. Keep it somewhere where you can fill it in throughout the day. I have mine next to my computer.
