It’s been a busy, busy week so far, so not had much of a chance to update the diary. Also, what I’ve realized is that whilst I really like my life. I’m a bit of a creature of habit, so to write anything of interest on a daily basis is quite difficult.
So I’ll just add little updates now and then when I’ve got something interesting to tell you. Please do keep sharing your updates though, I really love hearing from you.
Focusing on my EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
As an EFT master Practitioner, I know the power of using EFT to shift blocks and increase our energy flow helping us to feel wonderful.
So over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing EFT weight loss scripts to help you. If you haven’t tried any of them yet, have a go. It really is powerful stuff and you can do it yourself which is a real bonus.
I’ve also bought a book that I really like. Sometimes I like to just tap through a script that someone else has put together. When it gets to the end of the day and I’m tired, it’s nice not to really have to think too much and just tap through the scripts in the book.
(affiliate link) The book is EFT for Positive Living – Tapping scripts for weight loss by Christa Smith
There are a really good selection of scripts that you can do in just a few minutes. Well worth checking out if you do like having EFT scripts to follow along with.
Slow cooker love
It’s that time of year and I’ve got the slow cooker out again. I love my slow cooker. It’s just so easy.
This week I’ve done a beef stew. Enough to eat that evening, for my lunch the next day and some to go in the freezer as a stand-by meal.
I also did corned beef hash (not everyone’s favourite, but my son loves it). I cooked the potatoes and carrots for about 3 hours adding a tablespoon of gravy granules. About an hour before I wanted to serve the meal, I added a little more gravy granules to thicken the mix up and then added the chopped corned beef.
Add loads of fresh veggies to really bulk these meals out and pop in extra so that you can put some in the freezer for a later date.
A very productive weekend walk
Mum and I went for a lovely walk with Indie (my dog) on Sunday and it turned out to be very productive. We got a lovely bag of blackberries to take home with us. The track we were walking on is lovely and the bushes were filled with berries. We got a good sized bag to take home with us and there was still absolutely loads left. I think there’s something really special about picking fresh fruit in its natural setting. They tasted delicious too.
Okay, that’s it from me today.
Let me know how your week is going so far.
Best wishes always.
