I absolutely love affirmations. They’ve personally helped me to transform my life from a life I really wasn’t happy with and I wasn’t happy with who I was as a person.
I’ve put together 7 of my all-time favourite daily positive affirmations to help make every day a great day or to help shift your focus if you’re not having a great day or not happy with your life/who you are.
Affirmations help you to put your focus onto what it is that you actually want.
I’ve added a beautiful image for each affirmation and I’ve added a little video with all of the affirmations at the end.
How to use daily positive affirmations
There are no fixed rules for using affirmations but my overall advice is to fill your mind with positive messages as often as you can throughout the day.
It’s a good idea to focus on affirmations at the beginning and end of the day. First thing in the morning to kind of program your mind for the rest of the day and last thing at night so that these positive messages are filling your mind whilst you sleep.
Then throughout the day find time to sneak them in. Pop them on post-it notes. Create a daily positive affirmations notebook with all your favourites in, record your own favourite positive affirmations and listen to them throughout the day…
1. All is well in my world
This affirmation helps me to stay calm and look at the big picture that is life. There might be little things going on that are not as you want them, even big things but this affirmation will help you to stay grounded. Also, if I’m worrying about something in the future, it helps me return to the present moment – I will sometimes say “Right here, right now, in this very moment, all is well in my world.”
2. Every day in every way my life gets better and better
I started using this affirmation when my life was far from the way I wanted it to be. By repeating this affirmation I stayed focused on the things that were going well and focused on the things I wanted to change. I still say this affirmation every day now that I really love my life.
Every day in every way my life gets better and better – Every day in every way I feel better and better.
3. Today is a wonderful day
Just think what you’ll attract into your life if you start every day with this affirmation. Expect that every day is going to be a wonderful day.
I say this affirmation at the start of each day. I put my attention on the kind of day I want to attract. Today is a wonderful day. If things aren’t going great for you right now, you might find it more helpful to say “Today is a better day” or “Today is a positive day”
4. I am creating my ideal life
The truth is you ARE always creating – This affirmation helps you to remember to deliberately create your ideal life rather than leaving it up to chance. The law of attraction is working in your life (everyone’s lives) every single moment of every day. I’m a qualified law of attraction practitioner and I always advise people to create a law of attraction lifestyle for themselves so that they become a natural match for the life they want. This affirmation – I’m creating my ideal life – helps to keep you focused on that.
5. Today I am focusing on the good stuff in my life
The law of attraction states that we attract what we focus on – wanted or not. So it makes perfect sense to me that we should focus on the good stuff. It’s all too easy to get drawn into what’s wrong with life, other people, ourselves… but this affirmation reminds you to keep focused on the good stuff in life. This helps you to feel much more positive and it helps you to attract more of the things you want/like/love into your life.
Today I am focusing on the good stuff in my life.
6. I am loved for exactly who I am
I don’t know what you think but after years of coaching clients around the world, I think we all need to remind ourselves of this one. So often we question ourselves and doubt ourselves. This affirmation has been powerful for me. I spent so many years trying to be the person I should be and to be honest I hated that person, that version of me. The more I was able to let go of trying to be that person, the more I liked myself, liked my life, the more successful I became in my business, the more I attracted the right people (for me) into my life.
This is still one of my favourite affirmations and I remind myself of this often – I am loved for being exactly as I am.
7. I love my life
This one says it all. Please note that life does not have to be perfect, you do not have to be perfect for you to be able to love your life. This is a wonderful affirmation to say throughout the day. I love my life. Whenever something you like happens, affirm “I love my life” – You’re also letting the Universe know that this is what you want more of and the law of attraction kicks into action to bring you more of the things you love in life.
