When I’m tired, I can easily find myself reaching for those unhealthy foods that I know won’t really help.
They’ll probably give me a quick boost of energy but then I’ll find myself really struggling with my energy levels an hour or so later. 3 o’clock is my time where I can crash and burn if I’m not careful about what I eat.
So I asked my blogging friends for some ideas for energy boosting recipes.
Here’s what they came up with. I hope you like them as much as I do.
Bullet Proof Coffee – Keto Recipe
ust so that you know, you don’t need to be following a Keto Diet to get the benefits of this one.
Now, I’m not a coffee drinker but I got a couple of my coffee drinking friends to test this recipe out and they tell me it’s amazing and super tasty.
This recipe is from Linney at LinneyVille.com

Cranberry Coconut Energy Bites
Oh my goodness, I love these. I’ve made them a few times now and I just love the taste and texture and they really do fill you up giving you a nice energy boost.
I make them up at the weekend and they last me through the week (in an airtight container). I find if I have one about 2.30pm, it stops the 3pm slump that I can often get.
This recipe comes from Larisha at We’re Parents – If you have kids, please have a good look around this blog, it’s lovely and packed with great advice.

Even the name makes me feel healthy. At the time of writing this, I’ve only tried these once but they are so delicious and again, I get my chocolate fix in a super healthy way.
I was initially a little put off by having to find some of the ingredients but now I know where to buy them, these are going to be a regular energy treat for me. They taste amazing.
