We’ve done the Slim down for Christmas Challenge before on the blog but this year I’ve updated the challenge and I’ve created a whole workbook to support you.
We all want to look and feel great on Christmas day, don’t we? I know I do. I want to fit into that special dress and feel fantastic.
I’d love to say that I now after 3 years running this blog and being on my own weight loss journey, I’ve got this weight loss thing sorted. The truth is I do still struggle with my weight. I weight a good 3 stone lighter than I once did and I’m definitely a lot healthier. But at the time of writing this post, I’m about a stone heavier than I’d like to be.
I lose focus on staying slim and forget my weight loss and healthy living habits from time to time. And that’s why I love challenges like this one.
So the question is… Are you up for this Slim Down For Christmas Challenge?
Mindset, Healthy Eating and Getting Active
I have 3 things that I really want you to focus on during the challenge and that’s creating a really positive mindset, improving your healthy eating habits and getting more active.
Mindset – Use the EFT weight loss scripts here on the blog, try Hypnosis downloads and fill your mind with positive affirmations for weight loss. When you have a positive mindset, everything becomes easier – If you don’t work on your mindset you will always be pushing against old blocks.
Healthy Eating – Focus on fresh, natural food as much as possible rather than processed foods. Don’tdeprive yourself, instead focus on swapping what you’re currently eating for a healthier option wherever you can. And drink plenty of water – This makes a huge difference.
Getting active – I’m not talking 5 sessions a week at the gym or daily fitness classes – What I want you to focus on is adding more activity to your daily life in the run-up to Christmas – I suggest increasing your daily step count by at least 1000 steps – Check out my 10,000 daily steps challenge. – Moving around more whilst at home. Making sure that you’re getting up and getting active regularly throughout the day. Dancing around the house, jogging on the spot…And I’d like you to have a look on YouTube and find some workouts you enjoy. There are so many to suit every level. I recommend checking out Lucy Wyndham- Read. I love the indoor walking workouts.
