Before I started the 30-Day Weight Loss Challenge I would often find myself saying things like “I don’t know why I’m bothering, it’s not going to work for me. I’m always going to be fat!”
Can you relate to that?
Weight loss doubts, negative self-talk, and negative beliefs set us up to fail, often even before we even begin.
What I’ve learned is that the only thing this kind of thinking does is to keep me stuck, overweight and miserable.
Shifting your thinking and beliefs is essential for long-term success. In today’s post, I have an EFT script for you to follow along with. EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques is a wonderful and powerful technique that you can quickly learn and use yourself. It’s simple tapping on special Meridian Points. No special skills required.
I’ve added a video so you can follow along and get used to the tapping points and just repeat the words I say. If you need to, just listen through and tap with me the first time and then repeat saying the words and tapping as well.

Personally, sometimes I like to just have a written script to follow, sometimes I like to follow along with a video and other times I just do my own things and tap on whatever comes to mind. A few tapping tips for weight loss
I recommend that you do some EFT for weight loss every day, or as often as you can to really get you feeling fantastic. You’ll find that this is something you’ll need to do regularly rather than it being a one-off event. Now I’m going to be totally honest with you and say that I don’t do EFT every day but I do really notice a difference when I do. It’s definitely something I try to do daily.
Try making it a daily habit at a certain time of day, for example, after you’ve brushed your teeth in the morning.
Don’t worry about it if you’re not sure what to say. A rule I like to follow is Tap out what you don’t want and tap in what you do want.
It’s also a really good idea to have a drink of water before you tap and afterward to really help the energy flow and of course to keep you hydrated.
QUICK EFT Script For Clearing Weight Loss Beliefs
Here’s a quickie round for when you’re short of time. It’s a little bit of clearing and introducing some positive tapping to raise your vibes too.
Top of the head – Clearing blocks that keep me stuck
Start of eyebrow – I can lose weight now
Side of the eye – Clearing blocks that keep me overweight
Under the eye – I can lose weight now
Under the nose – Clearing blocks that keep me stuck
Chin – I can lose weight now
Collarbone – Clearing blocks that keep me overweight
Under the arm – I can lose weight now
Repeat if you have time just saying I can lose weight now.
